Thought for the Day: I love myself and others around me.
I am beautiful. What an incredible day to be alive. The mountains are so beautiful today. They are deep purple with white and lighter purple clouds above them. Today I will focus on not only seeing beauty in the world, but those around me as well.
Thought for the Day: I find things everywhere for which I am grateful.
I am beautiful. The scent of pine wafts through the air. Dang, I love that fragrance. It reminds me of my childhood, Winter and anticipation. It reminds me who I am; that I am beautiful inside and out. It reminds me that I’m not alone and have help wherever I go.
Thought for the Day: I remember to breathe and pause to feel alive.
I am beautiful. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I notice the smells in the room. I hear the subtle sounds. I pause. What I notice is life inside and outside myself. I feel alive and vibrant. I’ve decided to have a great day; just today, just now. Not paying attention to the past and not worrying about the future.
Thought for the Day: I pay attention to little things that make my day special.
I am beautiful. I have a much better day when I notice amazing little things. Like watching birds come to the feeder in my backyard. They are different colors and beautiful. I am so grateful I have my eyesight so I may see details on their little bodies. They are truly magical.
Thought for the Day: I cherish everything in my life; the people, plants and animals.
I am beautiful. My teenage daughter complains about my friends. How they are “weird.” But I have found that life is more fun when you diversify the people you hang out with.
Thought for the Day: I sit in moments that bring me pleasure.
I am beautiful. After reading the first part of Elizabeth Gilbert’s book, Eat Pray Love, I am reminded to incorporate more pleasure into my life. So I’ll make a list of things that make my heart sing. Now, I’m going to pick one of those things to do today that will bring a smile to my heart.
